Now into our third generation, the Stoddard family has provided quality, affordable housing to Mid-Michigan for over 30
years.

Dale Stoddard, our father, began our business in 1966 with little more than a forty acre soybean field and an idea. Building
a manufactured housing community in the Chesaning area had never been done and people were not exactly sure what to
expect. One of Dale's first jobs, after getting out of the service in 1955, was to work for Roycraft homes. Roycraft was a
manufactured home builder in Chesaning, MI. and he did service work for them. In 1965 he purchased a 40 acre farm on
the Northwest corner of M52 and Peet Rd. in Brady Twp. Beginning with two sites, Stoddard Mobile Court has grown to
125 sites. We are currently in the planning stages of a 60 unit subdivision in the village of Chesaning.

Dale retired in 1993, selling the business to son's Randall and Roger. One of the first things the second generation did was
to divide the sales center from the manufactured housing community. This provides a larger and better location for
displaying the multisectional homes. The single section homes are still displayed at the original site. Because of Rogers'
abilities in the on-site building of garages, porches and other personal touches, the modular or BOCA code, has become a
large part of our business. We now offer homes from under 1000 sq. ft. to over 3000 sq. Homes from single story ranch
homes to two and 1/2 stories. Stoddard's offers a wide variety of different manufactures to be able to better serve the wide
variety of home buyers in Mid-Michigan.

In 1997 Randall and Eileen's son, Nick, graduated and joined the family business. Nick does all of the excavating for our
customers on-site needs. Septic systems, foundations, driveways, fill sand etc. is Nick's area of expertise. Maintaining a
fleet of backhoes, bulldozers, and dump trucks along with a fleet of support vehicles, offers our customers the assurance of
prompt service, without the hassle of scheduling conflicts of subcontractors.
